We are asking for the public’s assistance into the murder of John Rogers aka “SlickJ”.  John was a budding hiphop musician with tremendous talent and considerable wealth.  We, his family, believe people close to him murdered him for his money and assets.  We want to dispel some rumors about him.  John Rogers was a savvy entrepreneur with several legitimate business ventures.  Although he may have had a “thug” image it was purely for show, to advance his hiphop career.  He was good to all the people he cared about.  He was neither a gangster nor a Hells Angel. He grew up in East Vancouver and may have known some from school and the neighborhood but that’s it.  Although some former Hells Angel’s members who are now deceased may be persons of interest in his death, there is no evidence to claim the Hells Angel’s club as a whole had anything to do with his death.  If any one out there has any relevant information as to who is responsible, please sign this guestbook.  It is simple to remain anonymous, just don’t sign a name to your post and request that your post be hidden.  Lets let John rest in peace by bringing closure to his loved ones.
